I'm trying to record a Video in NTSC from a VCR that is capable of
playing NTSC Videos. However, the Output is in PAL I suppose.
When I try to record it with lavrec (and PAL settings, VCD format) I
have the upper part of the Video in the lower quarter of the screen

Just a guess (I havn't used lavrec to record), but do you have line in
or whatever input your using set as the "port" to capture audio from?
