I have had to interrupt (^c) cvs -d$CVSROOT checkout -P src command
about three times. I was wondering whether checking out src three
times would overwrite the old files or ignore what's already on the
disk and update files that are not there or do anything else?

Does anyone know whether ACPI suspend/ resume now works? I do ctrl+alt
+ F1 (or 2, 3.. ) and try to suspend from
there with zzz and I get message: "suspending system" but nothing

starting at the same time. If I close one of them (by doing File -
Exit), it closes both of them. I have the same behavior from two

-current or close to it.
I built Java, but I cannot get any (including a slightly older version)
firefox35 to work.
I cannot achieve anything without IP access with Java.
If this is a hardware failure, I will ask for a replacement of whatever
it is that is broken.
If this is my fault, I can re-install or re-upgrade remotely, but I do
not have access to the interface I need until Wed.

After booting from the 4.2 base CD my HDD is detected as sd0 and the

fetchmail was complaining that procmail cannot create /var/mail/me
while fetching mail. The permission on /var/mail/ directory was set to

I have resolved this issue. I tried the installation again and this

I have some rules in my pf.conf for ssh brute force where it should
block and log the offending IP address in /etc/bruteforce file. I also
told syslog to log all ssh logging in /var/log/sshd. I can see some
failed login in /var/log/sshd but my /etc/bruteforce file is still
empty. Here's my pf.conf

So dont worry about it till now I have found no way
to get around this from openbsd 3.3 I use pppoe.
T-online is broken and alice and I others are better but this
is an issue for them too.
So just sto worring its just the message it do no harm in anything;)
