Hello,
After checking acpi tables, xorg logs, kernel logs, xinput, etc...
between 7.6 release & snapshots nothing stood out.
I solved it by editing
/usr/X11R6/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/70-synaptics.conf and commenting
everything out.
My touchpad is now working fine.
Cheers,
Eric.

Release works perfectly, updated to latest snapshot today, still no touchpad.
I guess i have to go the acpidump route and provide info with release
vs snapshots ?
Would that help?
Cheers,
Eric.

Hi Eric, All,
on my Intel Framework 13 I don't see that problem with the latest snapshot.
It seems the touchpad attaches differently on Intel than on AMD, so the
comparison probably doesn't help much ...

Hello,
I run OpenBSD snapshots on a Framework 13" AMD based laptop that I
upgrade from time to time.
Since October 17th (or around) the touchpad is not working anymore.
mouse are being detected as normal, but no more move registered etc..
In OpenBSD release 7.6 the mouse works as expected.

Hi list, my first post ever...
I'm a *BSD user since 98 I think, mostly freebsd...now I'm totally
hooked on OpenBSD for a couple years now, not in my servers yet,
but in my office pc and my laptop...that's my question, this laptop
is a little Lenovo IdeaPad 14w, which I use mainly for pentesting

Hi Jonathan,
it took me some time to verify, so sorry for the long answer.
I updated my T60 to OpenBSD 6.2 and both the Touchpad as the Track
Pointer work fine without tricks of suspend/resume.

A further update... after a suspend-resume cycle (suspend-to-RAM,
which 'just works' via Fn-F4), the touchpad works fine. 'dmesg' shows
15 new lines appended after my most recent suspend-resume cycle, but
none of them mention the mouse (pms0) explicitly:

Hi,
Quite the same appears here on a no name laptop with stock 6.2 kernel.
Pms0 disappears when booting in uefi mode. And not when booting in mbr
mode.
Strange and funny.

I have a Lenovo T60p laptop (amd64) currently running 6.2-stable (dmesg
below). I last rebuilt from source on 2017-12-15, but a cvs-update of
/usr/src today (2018-01-10) shows no changes, so this machine is fully
up to date for -stable.
My problem is that the touchpad does not work: finger moveme
Keyboard and touchpad only work after a cold boot. And by cold
boot I mean pull out AC and detach the battery.
