report and it's a shame that any laboratory has to rework reports for something
that contradicts CAP. But I am more concerned abuot standards they may write
relating to electronic reports, as we keep advancing toward a paperless
environment.

We've had our interface tweaked multiple times to catch these flags. We
autofile, so we are very dependant on the interface doing this work for us. We
have not yet experimented with the new transmission codes functionality, and
would like to hear from anyone who has.

I'm looking for anyone who has a BACTEC 9240 analyzer interfaced. We're being
told by someone from BD that Meditech handles only demographics, not results.
That is totally illogical to us!!

Thanks everyone for your advice about the BACTEC interface. You'd never know
from the anayzer specs on the web site that such a situation exists. I
appreciate this list serve every day!

test in LIVE (except for billing).
If you work with your ADM consultant make sure they know: MPI but no EMR. I
had to test it a few times before they set up just the right combination of
parameters.
