We have the same problem - It continues to amaze me how many users
complain about the DOS look of Meditech and then equate that 'DOS' look
with inadequate.
I can show them a 'beautiful' product that lacks most of the
functionality that Meditech has and they will still yearn for it over
Meditech.
They use nothing. All of our departments are required to have a downtime
process for when computers are unavailable.
Remember the 3 day power failure of 2003 or SARS - all good examples of
the need for a practiced downtime process.

We stopped using ELF chips years ago and switched to Iatric's forms
online. We created the forms in a forms software package, uploaded it to
Meditech (Iatrics folder) and it now downloads the forms as an overlay
