I tested this and it works fine. I think you may be running into the
“when the Rules are applied” part of this…
Remember, the rule is only applied when the message is delivered into
the SMOX, not when you create the SMBOX. In my scenario, I setup
everything as you did but disabled the delete

I don't expect you to have to do that. An app specific password works for me

First of all, I want to commend Benny on his efforts to deal with this and be
as transparent as possible with us users. It cannot be easy.
For what it’s worth, I currently have six accounts in MailMate, including one
Fastmail account, one Apple iCloud account and one FREE Gmail account for

Hi Benny,
I've not used Gmail in a **long** time (thank goodness), but I
occasionally get glimpses into the current state of Google's
'maintenance' of that part of their empire when troubleshooting my
mother's email. (She's just fine with Apple's Mail app for now.) If I
remember correctly, sh

Benny,
SFAIK, my Google account is non-Workspace (I.E., free). Currently use
the OAUTH2 settings in MM. It is working. As are Outlook/Live, Yahoo!

Benny,
That’s good news. I prefer OAUTH2 vs App-specific PW, but even may use
it earlier, but certainly later if OAUTH is rejected as you indicate is
Google’s direction. Apple setup remains fine.

Understandable
I can click on a complete Rule or an Action and copy/paste the data. My
version is the latest (v6243) but I believe several earlier versions
have similar capabilities.
Benny may show where that was implemented in his Release Notes if you
want to research it there.

Depressing, but thanks. One pain point: those of us who work for large
organizations that have outsourced email to Google. Trying to get the admins of
a large organization to approve something non-standard is, umm, painful…

Hi,
I apologize if this is not useful, or too late. I use ProtonMail with the
Bridge (version 3.18.0).
I haven’t noticed any “real” issues with it, though there is some strange
behavior with the Trash folder: it displays around 600 messages which are not
in fact in the Trash. Note: this is not
