Hi Scott. If it's a MacBook pro, like every other Mac laptop the power
button is located on the top right. To make it go to sleep, either
close the lid or press the power button. Finally, I don't turn my Mac
off as I heard from a friend that knows computers very well that

Hi Daniel. For me when I use the Nuance voices, I use the premium
version of the Australian Karen voice. I love the way Nuance tweeked
her voice to sound more human with Vocalizer Expressive. I wish they
would do the same for the male Australian voice, Lee, or if since
Nuance is adding Loquendo

Hi. I can confirm what Theresa said about the weirdness with Gmail
because I experienced this as well on Windows. For this reason I've

Skype and I'll be happy to teach you the basics to Voiceover. I have a
friend on here that I've taught how to use the Mac and it helped her

April, if you're still with us, I think I know why your computer beeps
or bonks whenever you try to do a Voiceover command. There's a setting
in the system preferences under the keyboard section that you should
check out. In that keyboard section, you should see something that says

Hi Andrew and others. There is an easier way to have incoming messages
read out to you in Skype. If you purchase Growl, you can configure it
to speak alerts for various applications such as Skype. The only catch
is that you can't be in the chat window. Just command+Tab to somewhere
else and the
