Question about contacts

What is a Secondary Click?

I was creating a couple of track pad commands. I selected the modifier key of shift and found that "click mouse" is 'shift click." Shift click is followed by the unassigned gesture of "shift secondary click." When thinking in terms of gestures, I am guessing that "click" may be a 1-finger tap.
