I have been trying both to see which I prefer. I like column view because it is
so easy to hit the right arrow to open a folder. I have, however, found it
harder to know precisely where I am copy' something. For instance, I had my
iCloud Drive in columns view and I wanted to drop a folder inn there. I went to
iCloud Drive and pressed right arrow to open the list of folders. I pressed
command v for paste. The contents of the clip board ended up inside a subfolder
of the cloud drive rather than as ann additional subfolder itself. What is the
best way to know where you are copying when in column view? Or is it just as
easy to do what I am doing now, which is to fly back and forth, keeping column
view mostly but switch to list view when I want to copy?
