1. If you are thinking of the pearl camera, I suggest that you save
the money. Its rather expensive but not as accurate as a flatbed scanner.
2. I have not tried the latest version of K1000 but if you want
something cheap you can go for the omnipage which is now available both

Just out of curiousity, how much is the pearl compared to the zoom Ex? I
have a zoom Ex, and love it, so if you can afford that, or can have DBS
invest in it, that could be an option.
