Some of this may be because of Apple's restrictions on apps that are
allowed in the app store. Apps are required to use certain sand box
rules and are restricted on what permissions they can have. By not
using the app store, app developers are free to use all available
resources on the mac. Ins

common sense is your best tool here. You will not find security suites
in the app store because these intigrate in to your system, and Apple

That's why I don't use windows other than at work where I have no choice. For
home use, it's the mac all the way, far less problems and a built in screen
reader.

It installs in the status menu, you will need to move to the status menu, then
use the voiceover keys to find the icon, although I also had this problem and
could not find the application last time I tried it as well.
