Guys,
I'm a keyboard player and I often write the word "synthesizer" as simply
"synth." Unfortunately, I can't come up with a combination of letters that
Alex will pronounce as s, short i, n, th. I've tried s, i, n th, to no avail.
Does anyone have a clue?

I did change my Growler settings to Speech. Weird thing is, in Skype,
when someone comes on or offline,All the voice says is "went offline,"
or "Went online." Doesn't give me a name until I scroll down through
my Skype online contacts to see what's different. Any ideas?

event for "contact came on line. So, i've chosen the sign in option.

Unfortunately, I'm still coming up empty. Even when I've marked the
boxes and chosen your ccontact "@" is available, the person's name is
not spoken. All it says is "came online.". Would really like to hear
the person's as they come and go.

For everyone's information, Colin and I just had a long Skype chat
during which we tried absolutely everything we can think of. However,
All I ever get when a Skype contact comes on or off line is that
someone came on or offline. In no case is the name ever spoken. I
have to go through the onlin

address. This address is now long dead. I have since unsubscribed and
resubscribed to this mailing list using kevj...@icloud.com. However, even
though my e-mails from this list come to my iCloud address, hitt
message and I received it as I would have expected. But when I attempted
to reply to my own thread, my sender e-mail was kevj...@me.com again. I
have to kill this if it's the last thing I do.

the thing is, there's ISRC codes which are embedded into every commercially
released audio file, CD or download. This is how those of us who live on
our royalties get paid. these ISRC codes get read by every dreaming
service and all that. but when you strip those out, we're screwed. So
