Trading up for my MBP

considering looking at the newer Macs. I want a smaller model for road trips as though the 15-inch is nice for sighted people, I don’t need it all. I mostly do mail, web browsing and some audio editing. Anyuthing I should know about the newer Macs and which models do people recommend? Jenine
