would get the downcast busy message, and I would have to shut down my computer
to do anything. I haven't solved it, and I don't believe anyone else has. Your

it has gotten really bad. I typically don't shut my computer off just put it
into sleep mode, and now when it comes out of sleep mode I have to toggle VO on

Well everything for the most part worked great, as I was able to repartian the
drive in to 2 drives, one for Time Machine and one for me to back up and have
