Yes, I'm glad you mentioned this. The mail is read choppy. Alex
reads smooth as ever in Safari. I currently only have my rate at 50,
so I don't think rate is causing it. I'm also having no luck getting
sub menus to work, Such as when I try to move a message to another box.

I'm attempting to use a bluetooth headset on my mini. I'm trying a
headset called Rocket Fish MAB 2. The headset works fine with my
iPhone. I was able to pare the headset and mini with no problem.
When I go to sound in the prefs, and select the headset, VoiceOver
comes through
I'm guessing the link is to increase the hit count to the site.

I visited the archives and believe I followed the instructions
correctly, but I can't turn the preview pane on and off. I like to
use the preview pane for the most part. However, I like to turn it
off when I examine the contents of my junk folder before deleting.

Go to the VoiceOver utility with VO F8 and go to verbosity. Select
the text tab. VO right arrow until you reach speak numbers as. If
you select as words, it will pronounce the way you desire.

A really cool feature with SL is that you no longer need to use the VO
shift to select text in an email. Give the traditional selecting
techniques a try that you use in other apps such as Text Editor.

turn curser tracking off with VO shift F3. This makes it possible for me to
move back and forth through the messages. I just have to remember to toggle
curser tracking back on with the same command.

Is the Apple TV required to be connected via HDMI to a TV? I realize it would
need to be connected to have VoiceOver initially started with sighted
assistance. I'm just wondering if one can use it with just the audio connected

Getting to the back button isn't really an issue for me. I'll either touch the
screen and perform the two finger scrub gesture, or I will use control and up
arrow to take me to the top left corner where the back button is located.

it to be quite accessible and much easier to understand, compared to my prior
trial. The application's tools and ease of use make it well

It's been my experience that there is no resolution. I type the phone number
without feedback, move out of the edit box, then move back. The number should
then be read. You most likely will be able to interact with the edit box to
make any corrections.

Check your Do Not Disturb settings. Look for the button that says “allow calls
from”. If you have favorites or another group selected, their texts and calls
will go through even when you have do not disturb enabled.
