Turning off java script in the developer menu seems to have solved the problem

I just got an email with some pdf attachments. I opened one and it started
reading in preview. It stopped at the bottom of the first page. I found the
next page button and pressed it, and page 2 is apparently showing. there is a
region that says page 2 of 2. But I can't find the text to

position next to the side of the screen you hope to move towards to get an icon
to move that way, i.e. when moving an icon to a lowe

downloading via safari. Tried it twice now and once I got an internal server
error 500 and the other time, something hung up and the page refreshed a couple
