If you have four bars then it is not wifi strength. First things first, can you bring up the google search page? I believe if you open Safari and the Internet is not available, that a diagnostic window will be offered. If you can get to Google then you should probably try running a speed test

Hi Donna, I recently picked up a TP-Link AX6000 wifi 6 router. You set it up with the tp-link tether app on the iphone. It is really easy to setup and I've had no problems with the router. My last router was the Gryphon Unhackable router and its setup is really easy too. Hope this helps! Jeff On

In systems newer then Catalina, you need to give VMWare access to several things in the privacy area. One of these should be sound. The other possibility is to make sure that you have a virtual sound card enabled on the VM. I have never started from scratch on creating a VM, but in the settings
