Thanks much, Brad.

Once I am done typing address, should I hit enter key or VO-spacebar? When I
hit enter, voiceover says contents selected or failed to open page etc.

I am not sure what to do next.

Thanks!

When you hear voiceOver say “Safari has no windows”, you should do CMD + N, to
open a new Safari window.

Then do CMD + L, to make sure focus is on the address field, and type in
whatever it is you want to do with Safari.

Should I assume that I do not have internet connection on this Mac?

If you have four bars then it is not wifi strength. First things first, can
you bring up the google search page?

I believe if you open Safari and the Internet is not available, that a
diagnostic window will be offered. If you can get to Google then you should
probably try running a speed test. I used to use the Apple Network Utility and
recommend pinging 137.39.1.3 but Apple has removed this utility, so if you
want to do network testing, you must open a terminal window.

Since you said that other computers in your house are working, it might be that
your ISP is limiting the number of connected devices.

                        Best wishes,

Thanks much, Ms. Furness, for your help and I do appreciate for that.

I followed your instructions and now VoiceOver says ‘Wifi on’ and my network is
checked and has four bars. Does it mean I am connected to the internet? If yes,
Siri still says that she is having problem with connection. Does that mean that
Wifi signals are not strong enough for Siri to work?

Thanks!

Hi,

Do a vo plus m twice. Arrow over to the right and you will find a menu called
wifi. Arrow down to your network’s name and vo space on it. If you have a
password, it will ask for it if you’ve never logged your mac onto your wifi.

HTH,

Cait

Hi, Group.

I am trying to connect my MacBookPro to Wi-Fi but I don’t find Network in
System Preference. I find here my name and Apple ID.

Am I doing something wrong?

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks!
