Hi all,
I just got a domain name, to use for testing something at work with emails. I
figured I may as well use it to host, well, whatever I want to. I have a Mac

You should be fine with a good firewall and properly configured software. I ran

you're doing is probably less annoying to configure than that. Just make sure
everything you're using is updated and you should be good.

Hi,
First, confirm that your using the same Apple ID and that Contacts is checked
in the iCloud pane of System Preferences for each Mac and iDevice.
Second, on your MBP, go into your Contacts app, and make sure that either All
Contacts or iCloud is selected in the Groups table. If you still do

You should be just fine. Just make sure you open port 80 on your

I actually would either get OSX server, or get Mamp. Mainly because that way

Holy wow. This thread is turning into a gigantic piss fest. Maybe we should all
just wait until Apple announces something, whenever they announce it. If they
do indeed still give us function keys, everybody can go back to being a nice
happy little family.

Smart, like something you have no idea what you’re talking about or used.
That’s like saying you don’t like something with out trying it. That’s a
little baby move. Babies say I hate vegetables, have you tried vegetables, no,
what happens when you try them, they like them and they eat a salad

Unfortunately for your position around touchscreens, they are much simpler to

With all due respect, sir, there WAS a significant amount of negativity in this

Accessibility is steller on their web site. So much so, that when I wrote them
to commend them, they told me flat out that they were 100% commited to
following W3C standard, and following all accessibility guidelines.
Thanks guys. I went ahead and signed up with them a couple hours ago, and I
have to agree that it's been quite easy. The only problem was that my card
wasn't accepted because they don't support that bank, but VO didn't detect the
popup displaying the problem so I had to open a ticket with them.
Wonderful! Glad you got set up. Watch how quick they respond to your ticket!
I think you'll be incredibly impressed.

Oh. With FileVault, you first boot into the recovery partition. Whilst
Command+F5 gets you something that talks you through the prompts and calls
itself VoiceOver, it’s likely a set of canned sound samples (remember, you’re
