Hello,
When using one of the templates provided in Pages, there’s a problem with
placeholder text. What you have to do to be able to navigate using the arrow
keys is to press Return followed by Cmd-z. After that, you won’t start moving
the element around.

Hello Gabriel,
I’m not familiar enough with Word to rate it honestly. However, Pages is 95%
accessible and, in my opinion, easy to use.
Of course, the accessible version of Office is still in beta so you would
expect problems.

Hello,
You know the size of your page and its margins, so you know the size of the
available space. It’s a case of simple arithmetic. Just make sure that you’re
using either inches or centimetres and not points.

That sounds vaguely familiar to me. That sort of thing used to happen when I

use the P Kee to set markers. You can always re-name and manipulate your

You could try identifying the file type. Copy the file in Finder, open
Terminal, type “file” followed by a space, and then paste. Press RETURN. File
will try to identify the file type, which may give you a hint as to what it was
before it lost its name.

There's a command you can paste into terminal and assuming you have the OS

Hi Anne,
Thanks for the tip.
A couple of things I feel worth mentioning about office are that firstly, Word
doesn’t reopen windows after quitting when you uncheck the box in system
preferences like it is supposed to do. And secondly, they have overridden some
