I'd like to have there particularly the start and end of the selection,

I want textedit to NOT correct my spelling hwile typing or check it while
typing. I uncheck these boxes but they get rechecked everytime i open textedit.
How can i disable these permanently?

You can do this in keyboard preferences in system preferences. Just note that
it will be disabled throughout the entire system.
Go to system preferences, keyboard, text tab.
There, after the shotable, you checkbox that says "automatically correct
spelling" Uncheck this box.

you route the mouse to the VO cursor by pressing VO+Command+F5. You can then
check what is under the mouse by pressing VO + F5.
You should probably familiarize yourself with the VoiceOver “getting started”
manual which can be found in the VO help menu (VO+H).

Basically, yup. Because Chrome is just a browser within the MacOS, you can’t
have ChromeVox take over the reading of the MacOS menus and dialogs. Any
dialogs that are presented as part of the Chrome browser experience are read by
ChromeVox, but not MacOS stuff.

Is there any sort of VO rotor I can use to adjust the amount of table
header information that is read every time I move to another cell?
Also, if I turn off header reading, is there a hotkey I can use to have it
announced one time on the fly?

Thank you. I was doing Vo F5 and nothing was spoken but the coordinates of
where the mouse cursor. The coordinates of the Mouse cursor sounded like VO F5
did not move the mouse cursor.

I downloaded James last weekend no problem, so perhaps there is something wrong
with the voice dream servers. He took ages to download as usual, but it did
work. I am also using an iPhone 6, and was restoring a previous purchase of
James.

Go into settings in dream reader. Go to settings right bottom corner. In
settings tap manage my voices, restore my voices and in that screen there will
be a list of your voices with either set preferred or download underneath its
name. Download the one you want and set preferred. Hth.

You could make a Smart Playlist with the criteria set to match with a specific
genre. Then as you go through the playlist, if you don’t wish for a certain
title to be tagged under that genre, do a cmd-i (Get Info) on it, change the

I have just downloaded Omni Focus. I am having trouble selecting the correct

Each time I insert the time in the “due date” field of the projects table the
