Hi,

No, it has not changed. VO-shift-m to bring up the Contextual menu then down
to “Add to Playlist”. Remember that putting songs in playlists does not
actually move or copy anything. I realize that it’s just terminology but
iTunes usually keeps all its media in one master location. Therefore, when
songs or other media get put into a playlist, this is just a reference placed
into the iTunes database. No duplication or relocation of media occurs. So,
you can add items to, or delete items from playlists very quickly and without
changing the amount of storage used by your iTunes media library.

Hello all,
I was wondering if the change to move or copy songs into a playlist has changed
with the latest version of itunes on the mac. I recall that one could interact
with the title of the song, and then do a shift-m-down arrow. this brought up a
minu one of which was to move or copy a song to a playlist. when i do it know,
I see other choices, but not that one. any help would be appreciated.
