U would suggest you do a "rebuild" of your mailbox this is an option near the
bottom of the Mailbox menu. Mail worked significantly faster for me after doing
this after an upgrade to 10.9.3

You shouldn't have to turn off VO. Or, you shouldn't have to do so. You
can always toggle it off for a few seconds and turn it back on to see if that
does, by chance, change something.

me to log into the app store with my username and password. Had to get a

You can register FineReader Pro via the application. To complete the process of
registration, you will need the serial number of your FineReader copy. To find
it, do the following:
Open Fine Reader Pro, press vo+m once to go to the menu bar. Move right with
vo+right arrow once to fine the Fin

I use a Refreshabraille mostly with my iPad Mini and at work via USB to a yucky
windows box. The device is great and has nice crisp Braille output.
Unfortunately, the programs to update firmware only come as windows
executables. Besides, they haven't released any software updates since 2011 or

time Machine or something. I have seen more sluggishness lately with Mavericks.
