A friend of mine has a very strange problem with the Macappstore. He just can't
install what he buys. All the Apps that he wants appear in the purchased table

HI again Chris, It's OK to "tell it like it is", in a professional
environment. In fact, having people pay for my opinion the last few years has
forced me to take this more seriously and made me feel responsible to actually
tell it like it is.
It's all in your approach. How you say things is

Hi all,
I have decided to purchase a new iPhone 4S.
Its price is substantially lesser in the U.S. compared to India.
Bu, if I purchase it from there, I'll have to use it without warranty.
So, should I get it from India at a higher price with warranty, or should I get
it from the U.S. without warr

Anyone know how to revert a file while in Text Edit using VO? I asked

Hi all,
How can I create a separate folder in Mail where all the messages from a
particular ID can be viewed?
For example, I want to view all messages from the Macvisionaries list in one
folder.
So, how can I do this?

There is no WRONG time to interact, unless what you're trying to do is outside

The organization of mail boxes and folders in Mail is an interesting

Hi.
The only thing you would miss if you did purchase from US would be Apple Care.
However, you have to ask yourself, if something went wrong with it, how would
you get it repaired?
Just my thoughts.

One other big deal with interacting is generally at the lowest level,
you will be interacting with a text element at which you can spell the
word or words even letter by letter and that is often impossible at
upper levels of navigation.

This is one way in which VO is a little bit awkward; that sometimes you have
have to interact two levels down just to get to the ability to spell or
phonetically sound out a word. I wish there was a "spell current word,"
feature; I guess I could maybe set one up in one of the commanders...

It is not really a solution but I find that the shortcut Command shift A which
will take me straight to the Application folder more convenient than Launchpad.
I cannot see what launchpad looks like but all it appears to offer is some

Hi,
If your volume supports tracking versions in TextEdit, then you should be able
to do the following:
• Open the document.
• Either Stop Interacting with the Scroll area, then navigate to the Versions
menu and choose Browse Versions, or go under the File menu and choose Revert.

Hi,
Try this:
1. Select the InBox where you normally receive MacVisionaries mail.
2. Stop Interacting with everything.
3. Navigate right to the "New MailBox menu" and press it.
4. Choose New MailBox.
5. Give it an appropriate name.
6. Press cmd-comma to bring up your Mail Preferences.

Yes, VO W does just as you describe; I'd never have thought to try it, as it's
not a keystroke I can easily do with one hand.

The various InBoxes order is controlled by the order that they are shown in the

Hi,
may I suggest using the favorites bar? This way, you can just press a

Hi,
drag and drop should work just fine in this table. Its all in the same window

Greetings,
That is probably a good place to start. Make sure to be close to the
mic as well.
I think in the recording options there is a way to make it just pick
your voice up and not the voice over.
If not then just plug in some headphones when you record so there is no
