Please tell what the Go menu is exactly. What is an alias. What is the

Hi,
The Go menu is a menu that, in this case, resides when you are in the Finder.
It is a menu just like the File or Edit menu with options relating to different
file locations you may wish to go when in the Finder. As a side note, the
Finder is similar to the Desktop or Windows Explorer in t

Hi all, I am interested in making an exercise recording to be placed on the
internet for download. I have never attempted such a thing but I must start
somewhere. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I am a complete

I have two somewhat related questions here.
1. I've noticed that some links identified by VO as normal links, will
not yield the typical context menu when I press Shift-VO-m; I just get
the menu with 5 items and are all full page related. But other links
on the same page do work properly and will
I thought you had to use Shift-VO-Down arrow to get into the spelling
list. Am I wrong? I may be confusing some of this with IOS devices
but I ran into spelling issues while tweeting with Yorufukurou
numerous times and am unsure how I got around some of them.

That's pretty broad. The simplest thing would be to use the built-in mic
of your mac and choose New Audio Recording from the QuickTime Player
menu. Beyond that it depends on what kind of recording you want to make
and at what level of quality.

If I had an example I could poke at it to find out what they did but I
commonly see fake links made out of text that triggers some javascript
and doesn't really link to another page. That could be why the
contextual menu is not working normally.

interact with the link before getting the options to download, etc.

Depends.
Are you trying to record something low end level, or do you need something
really professional.
For low end, I'd use Garage Band.
For really high end mainstream professional recording as I do for a living,
I'd look into ProTools, from Avid, formerly Digidesign.
