Hi all,
Using a gmail account with outgoing mail set to smtp.gmail.com, I
cannot send mail. When I try, it asks for the password for user
"null". It sounds like, somehow, my username is not set for
outgoing mail, yet I can receive just fine. Does anyone have any
idea how to fix this?

Hi,
The vocaloid software allows you to have crudely said artificial singing
voices. Yamaha is the developer and a few studios have developed
different vocaloid voices.
I was wondering if anyone has tried this software on the mac and if it

Both pop and imap are enabled. I cannot find smtp settings aside from

Good morning everyone,
The subject more-or-less covers it. This is really more of a curiosity question

In your Mail Prefs, Incoming is imap.gmail.com and Outgoing should be

Hi,
I did some research into midi keyboards and garageband yesterday. The

It has direct link software that allows it to work closely with
garageband, the knobs and faders etc will be auto mapped to garageband
functionality.

Hi,
I think its a complete waste of money to by a magic trackpad to use on a

The only advantage it brings is your able to use it away from the computer.

It's an interesting idea. I, for one, wouldn't have bought a Magic Trackpad if
it weren't for the large size. I find it easier to navigate and use gestures
that way. The thing I don't know is how large the trackpads are on the Mac
laptops, as I've never owned one. But if it's a matter of the lar

No. Even with image for windows, you needed to insert a boot cd and pick the
backup from wherever you stored it. If you had only one, I suppose you could
memorize the keystrokes, but no speech guidance at all.

My favorite is college football. This news leads me to think college ball will

Hi Rod,
I don't know about college ball. I thought Sirius/XM didn't have the rights to

Alex,
I had the exact same problem you have described. I never figured out how or
why it happened but, with the help of Jon Cohn from this list, I got it fixed.
First, he asked me to see what I found under “Connections Doctor”
Go to the Mail menu with VO M, then down arrow to the Connections D
This is just about exactly what I did, minus the connection doctor
part, and the null username dialog did indeed disappear. All seems to
be working perfectly... until I break something else later on! Thanks
for your response.

Hi,
To send a message in Mail, press cmd-shift-d. Take a look under the menu items
and you can note many of the keyboard shortcuts. Just like in Windows, they
are indicated right after the menu item when navigating through the menu.

I think everyone is a little confused. I don't think he's trying to turn
off trackpad commander, correct me if I'm wrong. I think he literally wants
to completely bump the track pad out of existance. He wants to make it
where it's as if the track pad never was there to start with.
Chris.
