Okay. I'm still having trouble unhiding all files in order to expose the

That command will show all files that are proceeded by a dot. By definition dot
files are hidden files. The AudibleActivate.sys file is not a hidden file.

AudibleActivation.sys file on my Victor Reader Stream HCSD card using my Mac.
Tonight, I've found a solution which I"m very happy with. It's called Tinker
Tool. It can be found here:

As far as using it as a dumb VGA display, there is no "video in" on the
iMac. You could do some screen share stuff like VNC to access your your
PC screen remotely on the Mac over a network, but that's probably not
what you were asking for.
