Hi, Unfortunately, that seems to be the last resort. Of course, you usually don't lose any data. Text Edit has autosave if you enable it, and every time I've been busy writing an e-mail, I've been put right back at the point where it crashed when I launch Mail after a reboot, cursor and all. An
