Shouldn't ever set a guest OS to use two processor cores when you only have two processor cores available on the host. Memory is very important. Windows 7 doesn't need nearly as much as Vista did. You can make it go with 1GB of RAM. That is the minimum, though. You really need 1.5 or 2GB of RAM
