I am running the latest Catalina on my iMac and the latest IOS 13 on my iPhone
8. I want to use Type2Phone to copy some authorisation codes from my iMac to an
edit box in the Authy app on my iPhone. Alas I am failing to pair my iMac to my
iPhone. The iPhone is not seeing the iMac in the

compactness, then you're better off just getting a small BT keyboard. But if
you're going to have your Mac with you anyway, this gives you the ability to
have a BT keyboard for your phone, and all the power and storage of your Mac.

I just tried to use Type2Phone for the first time. It says it's connected to
my phone, but I don't seem to have any access to my phone. Does anyone know if
this app still works?

VoiceOVer keys you are accustom to using on the Mac do the same thing on your
iOS device.
You can buy cheap bluetooth keyboard for well under $20 now.
You have to make sure that VO is turned off in order for the arrow keys to work
with your connected device.
Oh yeah, make sure that Type2Phone is the app that is in focus when you turn VO
off.

I am unable to use the arrow keys to move around my iPhone screen. I saw a
podcast in which someone was able to do this. Oh, I have turned on quick
:) I forgot that you can use type2phone to control iPhone. I rarely found a
need for that. I used it mostly for typing and therefore, I never turned VO off
on my Mac. :) I forgot about turning VO on Mac off. :)

No, Type2Phone is available internationally. Try this link that I supplied
yesterday to the AppleVis site under app deals, and that I posted on another
mailing list. This app should work for anyone running Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6)

Have any users of Type2phone been able to get the app to copy from the
mac and paste into a edit field on the iPhone. I remember from a past message
from esther that in previous versions this was possible. I have never been
able to do this. I did the update today

To update applications that you purchased in the Mac App Store, including
Type2Phone, you need to open the Mac App Store and select the "Updates" radio
button in the toolbar. I usually do this by launching the the App Store from
the dock and navigating to the "Update

How do I find the update? It doesn't show up when I do software update
and I see nothing in type2phone that asks about checking for a update.
I'm not that familiar with the app store and was hoping software update would
take care of things like this.

you have to go to the mac app store from the apple menu. Once you are there
then in the tool bar click on updates. Then you will have a list of your
updates available that you purchased from the mac app store.

and as far as I can tell nothing has changed, so it is safe to update. I hope
