When I record in Quick Time player without headset Voice Over and all
other inner sounds are recorded. But when I turn the headset on, only my
voice is recorded. How to set Quick Time Player to record all sounds
from the computer?
There is only microphone in input devices
Subject line says it all. I have two videos which I took from my iPhone and
want to combine them in to one. I used to be able to open the first video in
Quick Time then append the second video and export them as a single video
usually jus fine. Now, all goes well until I start exporting

I wanted to use quick time for its ease of use.
I tunes is a bit over the top for what I wanted.

Using quick look works but when you change focus to let us say mail the sound
stops.
Is there a way I can put the quick look in the background?

How right you are before I gave it up I was a UNIX programer.
That was 20 years ago.
I try to stay away from terminal, need to learn all about GUI.
Some times you have to drop back to the old ways.

OK, the above is a quick bash shell loop that goes through every mp3
file in the current directory one at a time and sends it to the open-w

The open command is quite impressive, it can open web pages or text
files or code samples

I looked at the man page for open.
I am not sure what the syntax would be to cat the mp3 files into quick time.
If you know how to do this please let me know.
