Hi Louie,
This isn't quite what you're asking for, but if you just want to play
all the mp3 files in sequence, have you considered using the Quick
Look option? Navigate to your folder of mp3 files in Finder, select
everything (or, you can even do a non-contiguous selection, then press
space bar to launch Quick Look for these files and start playing.
