Hi,
Everyone has their sweet spot when it comes to productivity vs. sacrifices, the
mac seems to have less sacrifice, as I am able to upgrade regularly across my
devices, but even if I wasn't in this situation, a mac can last a long time
before exhibiting some chronic hardware issues.

I appreciate your wisdom and experience when it comes to the Mac. I bought my
Mac in hopes of transitioning away from Windows once and for all. I once had
vision and was more than a casual PC user. However, the last few years I have
struggled with being productive on Windows 7 and `10. I am hopi
Hi Yuma,
I agree with you. I’ve learned to live with the touch bar, but after four
years, I still am not a fan. I’m about to buy one of the new Macs, and I’ve
decided to get a MacBook Air precisely because I want function keys and not a
touch bar.
Cheers,
Donna

to buy it again if I had a do over.

Hi,
thanks for your suggestions, however I don't find taking away a whole row of
function keys something that I can accept. These are called function keys for a
reason, they have a function to which you can map something in order for your
workflow to be more efficient.

Try using CMD + Shift + D, when you need to send mail using the Apple Mail app
on your Mac.

Sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time adjusting to the TouchBar on
your MacBook Pro.
I have a 2019 MacBook Pro 13, and while I don’t find the TouchBar useful, I
don’t have a problem with it because I rarely need to use it.
Perhaps you are not aware that there are other ways to perfo
I have the m1 13 inch MacBook Pro 2020 with the Touch Bar. I have only one
issue which Apple Support is not able to resolve. The Sen button is not
functional in Mail. Other than that I use the Touch Bar extensively with no
problems. I understand the keyboard is small and I have long skinny finge
