Hi Merv and Interested Others,
I plan to purchase a new laptop reasonably soon, but I have time to do my
research. I currently have a Surface Pro, a Windows machine. An Apple rep told
me that the ||M1 chip does not allow for running of Windows on the latest
|Macs. Is this accurate? I had used a Mac laptop many years ago and am
considering the 13 inch laptop with the M1 chip. I'd like to know how fast your
system is. If I listen to Appple, it sounds like a revolutionary jump in
performance and productivity. If the Touch Barr is a headache, can it be
disabled? I'm certain I will have other questions, but this is good for
starters. Thanks.
Best,

Les

bar

I have the m1 13 inch MacBook Pro 2020 with the Touch Bar. I have only one
issue which Apple Support is not able to resolve. The Sen button is not
functional in Mail. Other than that I use the Touch Bar extensively with no
problems. I understand the keyboard is small and I have long skinny fingers
which may make a difference for me.
