Here's what I discovered.
Using the latest Safari on my MacBook Pro and setting User Agent to default.
If I go to m.facebook.com, I cannot see the logout link. I have to click on
"more". But according to VoiceOver, "More" is not a link. Pressing it with
VO-Space Bar does not trigger it. I must ro

Hey. Thanks for the tip about the develop menu item, never heard about that
before. Now I'd like to know, for people that use Samnet on the Mac, when you
view multiple forum posts, does this new user agent thing eliminate the busy
messages there? Haven't tried it yet, as I'm still fooling around
To log out from facebook via the mobile site, click more and then logout. VO
doesn't say it's a link, but it is. You can find lots of other stuff under more
as well.

experience is that the User Agent switches back to "Default" when you open a
new tab or window. It is usually not a good idea to fake a User Agent in the
browser because certain JavaScript routines behave differently in the various
browsers, and complicated web sites like LinkedIN and FaceBook
How will this affect Safari on other sites, if at all? Would one have to go in
and change the settings back?

Changing the User Agent doesn't do it for me. The mobile site is still not
readable.
Actually, the main facebook site is more accessible at the moment.
But the sad thing is that the logout link is only in the mobile site so at this
moment, I can't logout of facebook.

1. In the develop menu for Safari / WebKit there is a "User Agent" sub
menu. When I changed my browser type to "Safari Safari IOS 4.1 iPod Touch all
the busy busy messages went away...
You need to enable the Develop menu in the advanced preferences of the Safari
settings pane.
