Here's what I discovered.
Using the latest Safari on my MacBook Pro and setting User Agent to default.
If I go to m.facebook.com, I cannot see the logout link. I have to click on
"more". But according to VoiceOver, "More" is not a link. Pressing it with
VO-Space Bar does not trigger it. I must route the mouse to it and perform a
mouse click. Not bad, but unnecessary. After clicking on "More", I now see
logout.

Next, I set user agent to Internet Explorer 8.
I went back to m.facebook.com.
Boom, everything changed.
The layout of the entire site changed. Not surprising considering that the site
thinks I'm using Internet Explorer.
But now, I don't need to click on "More" anymore, the logout link is visible
and can be located using the web-item router.
This may be odd since I'm a little obsessed with the logout link.
But it is necessary for me since I am sharing my MacBook with my girlfriend and
we each have an account.

And I must say, the Internet Explorer layout is a little easier to navigate.
VoiceOver is more responsive as well.
