something other than Objective-C, you may have a problem, but anything that
uses the native Mac APIs and frameworks can easily be made accessible. I don't

You are correct that in many ways it is actually easier that it either works or
it doesn't.
It is also possible that some setting is not quite right.
The program is one that allows voice communications over the internet. It has
a similar function to Skyp

True there's no settings that you can change to make an application work with
voiceover, but since you are a new Mac user, you may not have done everything
that you can do to make it work. That was why I asked what the program was.

the developer has not set things up correctly, the app won't work, and that's
that. Apple makes it easy to figure out if an app will work or not: just try
it, as you have. There are no Jaws or review cursors to try, no
