When I use "container" option on my iPad. it doesn't seem to do what others
have said here, i.e. go from section of the screen to another section. It just
moves me through all the elements within all sections as I flick right or left
with one finger. Am I doing something wrong?

yes, you can use the roter using the keyboard doc or blue tooth keyboards.
enable quick nav by pressing the left and right arrow keys at the same time,

the screen was replaced with the 4 finger tap at the top half or bottom half of
the screen, eliminating all 4 finger swipe gestures.

I think this new setting in the rotor became necessary because they took out
the 4 finger swipe left and right which, as I understand it, had been the
gesture one used to move from one container to another in the IPad. I didn't
have an IPad then, so have no first hand experience with that gestur
I don't have an iPhone, but I'd assume they both would have the option. Then
again, maybe not, due to the size of the iPad.
