Hi, When it comes to the universal clipboard, there are some considerations. I don't know the specific time restriction, but there is one and I believe that it is less than 30 seconds, may even be 10 or 15. So, It is best to have the iPhone open and ready after copying the text from the Mac.

I know simple things that have worked for me when something should work but doesn’t, is to turn it off and back on again. So disable handoff on both devices and restart them and then enable handoff again. You probably don’t need to restart the devices but it doesn’t do any harm. This may not hel

Hi, I used cut and paste to move files around in Windows for years with no great trouble. I may have cut something by mistake once or twice, but in that case Undo came to the rescue. On the whole, I like working with the Mac very much, but I miss this feature from Windows. Cut and paste
