You are using VO-f and not command-f? You can try command-f as well, which
is the MacOS search facility. I have always had luck with VO-f.

Barry,
Thanks for that idea. I noticed that even after pressing VO+I I got that
irritating “Safari Busy” message again with the long wait time. However when
the list did come up I noticed a whole bunch of bookmarks in the item chooser,
and I got suspicious.
In the View menu for Safari, I shut of

Incidentally, the item chooser works anywhere.

John,
Okay hate to be a pain, but that’s the method I’ve been using. Whenever I try
to VO+G to find the next occurrence of a text string that is not there, Safari
goes into that “busy” mode. This also happens when I press “L” to jump to
links, and reach the last link on a page. When I press “L”
I will often use VO-f. It’s a simple search method, but it works on the web.

I get frustrated when using Option+Control+F and Option+Control+G for finding
text or finding the next instance on a web page. If the text is not found, I
inevitably get a “Safari busy” message that lasts for a good 15 to 30 seconds
before I can do anything else.

Okay, so multiple times, I have selected my most loved genres and have selected
artists. At the end, it says got it. However, I am getting no recommendations,
and each time I go back to it, it has not saved my options.

I have had limited success. I have done so a few times with cursor
tracking off and by dropping the item after the last mailbox in the favorites
bar. It's something I had to fiddle with a few times to get it to work.

Hi.
No luck. I can drag the mailbox fine, but when I try to drop it doesn't work.
I have tried dropping it both directly on the favorites bar and I've also
tried interacting the favorites bar and dropping it there when I try to drop

Using this method, when you first Interact with the "Message Header Text" area,

Yes. that is correct.
I use quick nav because I don't want to do any more work than I have to. LOL!

Hello Bill,
To mark non-contiguous items, interact with the table, press VO-Cmd-Space bar
and if you hear VoiceOver say that the item is unselected, repeat the action.
Navigate to the next item using the VO keys and down arrow, then press
VO-Cmd-Space bar on the one you want.

I don't think it has to do with quick-nav. Just be sure you are interacting
with the listview (VO-shift-down-arrow) and use VO-up- and -down arrows.
Quick-nav doesn't have to be on for this.

It may be because you have quick nav turned off. From what I understand, you
