Hello Bill, To mark non-contiguous items, interact with the table, press VO-Cmd-Space bar and if you hear VoiceOver say that the item is unselected, repeat the action. Navigate to the next item using the VO keys and down arrow, then press VO-Cmd-Space bar on the one you want.
Continue in this way until you have selected all your items, then perform the desired action. Any new command will take you out of selection mode. I find list view the most effective for selecting non-contiguous items.
