working might be resolved. If you have had issues with this, it would be great

I haven't been on the list much since I am primarily working on a Windows
system at work and haven't had much personal computer time.
I brought up my Lion MBP (2009) system today and upgraded WebKit and am seeing
a behavior I don't remember occurring.
When I use VO-
When you say webkit, you're talking about the nightly builds and not the
regular Safari browser? If so, what happens in Safari? Are you opted in
on the youtube html5 video trial? If not, goto youtube.com/html5 and opt
in to see if that makes things any better. Could be your Flash poppin
This has been a recent development. If I click a youtube video link while in
Facebook, or anywhere for that matter, I go to the Youtube page, but can't get
the video to play. I see no where on the page to make the video play. I end
up launching VMware Fusion and opening the video in Internet
I did this by performing a reset. Working great now.

Can you please check out the nightly snapshot of Webkit for the Mac? It seems
that "busy" messages are gone. It could be that I am lucky but I could not get
to "busy" on me for the last half-an-hour.

A friend of mine have had this issue as well. He was forced to reinstall the
whole OS because he couldn't simply reinstall webkit. I'm running the newest
version here which works without any issues. Or rather, without this issue. :)

ok something seems to have gone wrong with webkit in the last 2 versions. since
last update, I have been unable to enter any text in the URL or google search
boxes. even a command-L and try to enter text in the popup box fails. I cannot

Check your DNS configuration.
Did you set it manually? If so, change it to DHCP and see if it helps.
Also, what happens if you do a telnet to the webkit address from the
terminal?

It won't change for webkit as it launches. If you change it and then once
you've opened the website for webkit, you can hit command-shift-H and you'll be
taken to your home page. Thats just a feature of webkit to insure you're
considering testing the latest versions.

To make Webkit your default browser, start webkit and Safari. Then in Safari's
preferences, go to general and VO right arrow til it says default browser. It
should be a popup menu. You should be able to select Webkit from the choices.
It responds quicker with Webkit set a
ion on Thursday, along with group
vs dom mode.
