When you say webkit, you're talking about the nightly builds and not the regular Safari browser? If so, what happens in Safari? Are you opted in on the youtube html5 video trial? If not, goto youtube.com/html5 and opt in to see if that makes things any better. Could be your Flash popping up something about an update which usually isn't VO accessible.

This has been a recent development. If I click a youtube video link while in
Facebook, or anywhere for that matter, I go to the Youtube page, but can't get
the video to play. I see no where on the page to make the video play. I end
up launching VMware Fusion and opening the video in Internet Explorer in
Windows 7. Highly annoying. I have the HTML 5 extension and Adobe Flash.
What else could be wrong?

Thanks in advance! :)
