Hi:
On the HumanWare web site www.humanware, go to support, Braillenote Apex,

Thank you very much, Eileen. Your latest missive arrived about five minutes
after I got it to work. As I indicated to Sarai, I now need to learn how to
make the display work seamlessly with the iPhone while reading Kindle and iBook
books. Actually, I am hoping that the BN also works in Voice D
Hi Mike,
I'll try this again because I checked what you meant by my message being cut
off.
1. The iPhone needs to be off totally: The sequence is to turn on the Apex
first, set it in terminal mode and make sure that bluetooth is turned on by
pressing the letter B.
2. Now, open the iPbone: Go
Hi. Powering down the iPhone and doing a hardware reset on the Apex was the
ticket. Thank you very much for your input.
Do you know where I can find a list of BrailleNote keyboard commands to invoke
the VO commands from the BN qwerty keyboard.
At least, is there a command that can be invoked s
Yes, restart your phone. Whenever you see that "could not load driver" message,
that's the thing that seems to help. Your report is very odd, since has
always been the pin for doing this (I don't doubt you, I just can't figure out
why that would happen). You might want to go to Settings > B
Hi Sarai,
Your suggestion did not work for me. When I typed , I was unable to pair
the devices. Then, for some reason, I tried entering and actually got

double tap it. Type in on the phone .

Hello.
Unfortunately, your message got chopped off at its beginning. However, to

Thanks and best regards,
Mike

Hotspot is in Settings > Cellular, but it has nothing to do with braille
displays. Perhaps the rep thought you were trying to get the apex online
through the iPhone? In that case, yes, you'd need to enable the Hotspot feature
and then connect the Apex to the iPhone's wifi network. If that's not
Hi.
I recently had my BrailleNote Apex repaired and I have been unsuccessful at
getting it to communicate with my iPhone 4S. A Humanware distributor said that
in order for pairing to work, I’d have to turn on the Hot Spot function in my
iPhone 4S. I have gone into Settings, but I have thus fa
