Ok, I don’t remember if I ever said, but if you use the program just to lead
pdf files, I found reading page by page works fine. I’ve only done that short
files, so I don’t know what would happen if you read a longer one and didn’t
convert to something.

Yes, I like the export capability as well. In the demo you only get RTF
and TXT export. Also a smile logo will be embeded at the end of every
page whenever you save or print. Otherwise it's fully functional so you
are welcome to try it for as long as you like then purchase a license

I agree, even though we can’t do everything that software is able to do. Maybe
that will change some time, who knows. But it is faster than using Windows with
JAWS, at least it was when I was using Windows. The OCR feature is
instantaneous, practically. Also, with the Pro version, you can create
Hi all
PDF Pen Pro is awesome. I currently have the demo but plan to buy it in
the future. One feature I like is the ability to automatically OCR PDF
documents that are just images, usually done from a scanner.

Hi there
I use Pages and Numbers all the time in my business. Also, I have a program I
got called PDF Pen Pro for PDF files. You may or may not need it, but you might
want to check it out. You might want it especially if you need to fill out pdf
forms.
I haven’t seen it myself, but there is
I’ll give the book a read and report back if further assistance is required.
How about mobile solutions?
It’s been a while since I’ve used the iWork mobile apps for any serious
content creation. ( Because the uni I’m with embraces mobile computing I could
probably get away with using an iPho
Hello Sadam,
I’m not sure how much detail he goes into, as I’ve only skimmed through his
book, but many people have found it useful. It’s also a lot cheaper for you
than paying for lessons with me, but if it isn’t sufficient, I can fill in the
gaps. I charge €30 per hour.

I’m afraid there are no other books for VoiceOver users that cover iWork. But
that one does cover Pages, although he doesn’t seem to know some of the
workarounds some of us have found.

Thanks Anne.
Will reach out and make use of you’re services if the content discussed isn’t
sufficient.
Just got it, sceems to start from beginner hope some of the advanced stuff is
covered.
Are there other books that only specifically talk about the iWork apps as it
relates to VO?

Hi Anne,
Thanks for the response.
Does the aforementioned book give instructions on how to accomplish these
tasks?
I have about a month before semester reconvenes so would like to get a feel for
the software before hand.
Kind regards,

Hello,
iWork is very accessible and would work for the tasks you mention. The preview
of MS Office, at least when it comes to Word, is a long way behind iWork.
However, don’t expect Pages to be like Word. It does most of the same things,
but in a different way.
If you haven’t got it already, g
