A much better solution would be to remove all of the authorization nonsense in the first place, that's one reason among several why I have gone away from windows completely and switched to the mac, none of that to worry about. For Windows though, NVDA is the way to go for sure. Original message

As Jonathan said, using an ILM key works pretty well in this situation, and if you make any changes to your configuration that JAWS doesn't tolerate, you can always restore from a backup or snapshot to fix the problem. In fact in that sense, it's actually a much better experience than on Windows
