I must agree with at least Mike's first point.  All this Internet-based 
activation nonsense is basically a kick in the crotch for paying customers.  
Doesn’t matter who’s doing it, it’s still awful, and there is no doubt 
whatsoever that it impacts my usage of the software.  As Mike says the proof 
generally takes the form of alternative choices that take up residence in their 
place, as a matter of basic necessity.
Having said this, if JAWS 16 really has improved in VMs (I only have my home 
license installed on my MacBook in a partition) then I will be glad to try it 
again.  I’d rather only need one screen reader installed, and glad as I am of 
the advancements in the others, I’ve preferred to use JAWS on laptops for a 
while now.
