Hi Neil.
I'm so pleased that you are persevering with your Mac Pro even though you have
had issues.

All,
I bought one of these three days after they came out, the 11.6in model, I used
it along side my new Mac Book Pro 15in model that arrived the day earlier.
I have subsequently returned the Mac Book Air, as it just simply isn't up to a
days full typing.
there's nothing wrong with the specific
Hi,
And the fact that the Toshiba one isn't mac is a huge problem to me, (Smiley).

The funny part of this discussion is the camp that needs more power. I used to
think that faster processor and more ram was the ticket. I do not believe this
is the case any longer. Where I believe the new Air will shine is in the SSD. I
believe if your going to do any audio editing or run a cou
Hi,
I don't know this for a fact but, I would say it will support Lion. After
all, it wouldn't make sense to put out a computer like this and have it not be
able to run an OS that is coming out in less then a year. And I would think
there wouldn't be another macbook air refresh in that time
Actually, if you're looking for good quality and much less expensive / lighter
Asus is the way to go. Someting like the 1201PN or even the 1008HA if you want

buy the Apple unless you need windows natively. I wouldn't
The price is really driven up by the solid state hard drive. Those are still
very expensive. You also have the build quality. almost every netbook I've
come across feels cheap and flimsy. They also use inferior parts. This might
not be a big factor to most but, Macs retain their value way b
You would not get the Mac OS or VoiceOver on a netbook. Also netbooks are more
under powered then the Macbook Air and tend to have smaller keyboards and do
not have track pad gestures.
Other netbooks will not have the same build quality either. The Macbook is a
fantastic note taker and offers
No one's going to have one of these since they were only released yesterday.
I personally don't really see the point; it's a portable mac with very
mid range specs with a good battery. It's apples answer to the netbook
except you could by 3 netbooks for the same price as one of these.

HI,
I DO have one and really like it in general - it gets rid of the need to
have a separate note taker because of its portability - it is very
robust inspite of its size.
The limitation I find is memory space - I can't keep all my files and
itunes stuff on it - I did get one when they first came
Hello,
Why would you worry about this breaking more than any other computer? The
entire thing is made out of metal. It has a solid state hard drive. No moving
parts.

Greetings Robert,
I suspect most on the list already received this directly. In a subsequent
email Apple mentions the inclusion of SD drives and lighter weight.
