you may not have burned the data correctly.
how did you burn the DVD?
burning a DMG file means opening the DMG file, launching disk utility,
selecting the INSTALLESD dmg file and instructing it to burn to DVD. this
creates a bootable DVD.
when all's finished, quit disk utility, eject the DVD,
i did and after the dvd finished chiming i pressed command f5 to start
voiceover but no luck. all i get on screen is the apple logo.
any thought?

I believe someone has possibly covered that situation. I have lion on a DVD and
it does what I need it to do but I'm not running lion on my own workstation for
stability purposes.

This will be my first time ever using Lion. Any tips that any of

Hi Cody,
The longer you wait with the upgrade to lion, the fewer people will know how to
do it because the experience vanishes from memory, being replaced by other
knowledge. And if you don't use it, you loose it. That's just how it goes. I'm
not unwilling to help someone install windows 98 with
No, the only reason you'd have a hard time finding someone to help you is if
people just don't want to help you or refuse to. There will always be helpful
people around.

I heard if I wait too long it will be harder to find someone to help me. Is
