You may like to check in the Store menu as well. VO-m to the Menubar, right
arrow over to the Store menu and then down arrow to the "Sign In to the Store"
item. Things often remained dimmed if you are not actually signed into the
AppStore. Beyond that, I suggest you do the Repair Permiss

YES I ha e. the buttons in the store do notcome up or work. I would love to try
that but it simple does not show the html content so I can't find that button.

If the update has already been applied, there'll be a receipt in the system,
thus, you won't be able to re-apply it from the AppStore. You can usually
download the stand-alone updater from Apple Support site or you can restart the
computer while pressing down cmd-r. This will put the comp
